Cliftonville Hotel - Cromer

I had a fantastic stay with a stunning beach view and delicious food. The homemade scotch eggs at the event were a highlight, and the cozy room had ample charm. I'd definitely return!

Came in Cromer to relax and have fun, this classy hotel was good base for doing it. I slept so comfy in the exceptionally comfortable bed. Its location was marvellous and brilliant, near pier, the restaurant and the beach and town.

The Wi-Fi was a total letdown; it constantly dropped out. I couldn't rely on it even for a quick check-in. In today's world, decent internet is expected, and it really threw a wrench in my plans for a longer stay.

It has an exquisite bar and attentive stuff.

Clean and homely place, has amazing views over the sea. The venue is placed in a central position on the sea front.

The room was spacious, albeit a bit dated, but clean. Dinner was a highlight-delicious roast beef! Just be cautious with room choices; Some are much nicer than others. A pleasant experience with room for improvement!

The hotel was very shabby and not at all inviting. The receptionist was unable to describe where my room was located. The room itself was again shabby, the carpet had loose threads where there was a join. The basin was in the room itself with the window next to it covered with an opaque substance. Neither window would open. The bathroom contained a toilet and shower. The shower was a tray with a shower curtain round it and again the window was covered in an opaque substance. The bed sheets were clean but the duvet cover looked as though it was not changed very often. In both rooms there was a container of liquid soap but in the bathroom there was something solid floating in it. The dining room was again shabby with an unclean tablecloth and some chairs did not look very solid. I found the whole experience most uncomfortable.

The menue and food at the adjoining Bolton's Bistro was terrific. Very good sea views.

No room heating in #2. No attempt to correct the problem. Toilet pump noisy.

We had a lovely weekend at the Cliftonville Hotel, enjoying spacious room 35 with a fantastic sea view. The beach access made it easy for our 8-year-old to play by the shore, and we loved the sun terrace for relaxation. While the food at dinner was really good, breakfast could use improvement. the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings made it a nice family getaway.

The staff where very friendly and helpfull, as in taking small dog to breakfast, they served me in the bar area.

Friendly staff, good food, excellent sea view. Interior design staright from agatha christie, which is what we like.

A Cozy Stay with Minor Hiccups

The on-site restaurant offered fantastic meals, although staff seemed a bit rushed. A minor downside was the television reception, we struggled with BBC channels due to wind, but it didn't affect our overall experience. Ideal for couples!

Hot water system was excellent . We appreciated the iron and ironing board. Our sea view room was lovely.

TV was rather high and small. I would have liked proper coathangers instead of 'don't steal me hotel hooks' !!!!!

The bathroom was tiny. No curtain on the see through window which was right next to the toilet and sink, also the shower.
